Technical Information

RAD™ Eyeguards are designed for Racquetball, Squash, Shooting and all sports where eye protection is mandatory. RAD™ Eyeguards meet the specified requirements of "High Velocity Impact Resistance" (mechanical) testing in accordance with ASTM F803.94. They also exceed ANSI industrial standard Z87.1, CSA274.3M88 Safety Standards and MIL-S-44366A Military specification for ballistic fragmentation.

ASTM F803.94 requirement for racquet sports is that the eyeguards shall be capable of withstanding the impact of a racquetball at speeds of 90mph at certain angles without damage. The eyeguards shall protect the orbital area of the eyes from contact with the racquetball.
